Porsche Classic’s Project Gold series continues, this time around with a fascinating if short video covering the refinishing of the car’s wheels. Utilizing a laser in the finishing process, Porsche Classic is able to add highly precise gold accent lines to the familiar “turbo fan” swept 5-spoke design first fitted on the 993 Turbo and Carrera S models.
As mentioned in the Project Gold introduction, this 993 reimagined by Porsche Classic is being built as part of the brand’s 70th Anniversary celebration. It will debut at Rennsport Reunion VI and will be sold at the RM Sotheby’s Porsche 70 Auction at Porsche Experience Center Atlanta later this year.
