The economy is strong and unemployment is down. Companies are hiring, and in such an environment a skilled hand can pick and choose jobs that are much more appealing and hopefully even fire one’s passion. Take for example L.A.-based Singer. They’re one of the hottest companies in the vintage Porsche industry and they’ve recently revealed they’re hiring.
If you’ve ever seen a Singer in person, you know they’re hyper detailed to a level few other “backdate” builders even approach. Not surprisingly, being just a bit OCD is believed to be a strong point when applying for a role on their team.
Jobs listed on their site currently include Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer, Quality Auditor, Quality Auditor Body Shop, Supply Quality Assurance Engineer, Interior Trimmer, and Sales Administrator. There are also more positions available in their new UK outpost announced more recently.
